3. Consultations and treatment suitability

All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone treatment if we believe it is not suitable, safe, appropriate or in your best interests.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Medical contraindications
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Active infection, inflammation or skin irritation
  • Recent surgery, dental work or cosmetic treatment
  • Recent sun exposure, tanning or compromised skin
  • Unrealistic expectations
  • Failure to provide accurate medical information
  • Failure to follow pre-treatment advice
  • Behaviour that is abusive, inappropriate, discriminatory or unsafe

A booking does not guarantee that treatment will be carried out. The final decision will be made after consultation.

4. Medical information and consent

You must provide accurate and complete medical information before treatment. This includes, where relevant:

  • Medical conditions
  • Allergies
  • Medication
  • Previous aesthetic treatments
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
  • Skin conditions
  • History of complications
  • Previous reactions to treatments or products
  • Any other information that may affect treatment safety

You must tell us if anything changes before your appointment.

Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of side effects, complications or unsatisfactory results. Bonavada Aesthetics cannot be responsible for issues caused by incomplete, inaccurate or withheld information.

You will be asked to complete consultation and consent forms before treatment. Treatment will not proceed without appropriate consent.

5. Age restrictions

Injectable aesthetic treatments are only available to clients aged 18 or over.

Male-focused intimate treatments, including Scrotox and PRP P-Shot, are only available to suitable adult clients aged 18 or over.

We may ask for photographic ID before treatment. If you cannot provide valid ID when requested, treatment may be refused and the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.

6. Booking appointments

Appointments can be booked online, by message, by phone, by email or in clinic.

Some appointments may require a deposit or booking fee to secure the appointment. Your appointment is not confirmed until the required deposit or payment has been received.

Please make sure you book the correct treatment or consultation. If you are unsure what you need, please book a consultation or contact us before booking.

7. Deposits and booking fees

Deposits and booking fees are used to secure appointment time, clinic resources and practitioner availability.

Where a deposit or booking fee is required, this will usually be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day.

If you cancel or rearrange with enough notice, your deposit may be transferred to a new appointment or refunded where appropriate, depending on the circumstances.

Where cancellation is late or you do not attend, we may retain the deposit or booking fee to cover reasonable losses, such as lost appointment time, preparation, administration and inability to fill the appointment at short notice.

We will apply this policy fairly and reasonably. Retained deposits and cancellation charges are intended to reflect genuine business loss, not to act as a penalty.

8. Cancellation and rescheduling policy

We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

If you give at least 48 hours’ notice, we will usually transfer your deposit to another appointment or refund it where appropriate.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, your deposit or booking fee may be retained.

If you do not attend your appointment and do not contact us, this will be treated as a no-show. Your deposit or booking fee may be retained, and future bookings may require full or partial payment in advance.

We understand that genuine emergencies happen. Where there are exceptional circumstances, we may use discretion.

9. Late arrival

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive late, we may not be able to carry out the full consultation or treatment safely. Your appointment may need to be shortened, rearranged or cancelled.

If we cannot proceed because you are late, this may be treated as a late cancellation and your deposit or booking fee may be retained.

10. Payments

Payment is due on or before the day of treatment unless otherwise agreed.

We may accept payment by card, bank transfer, cash, online payment provider or other approved payment method.

Prices are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking will usually apply unless the treatment plan changes following consultation.

Additional treatment, extra product, add-ons or changes to the agreed treatment plan may increase the final price. This will be discussed before treatment proceeds.

11. Refunds

Aesthetic treatments are personalised services. Once treatment has been provided, refunds are not normally given simply because you change your mind or because results vary from what you expected.

However, this does not affect your statutory rights.

If there is a genuine issue with the service provided, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the matter properly.

We do not guarantee specific results. Outcomes vary between individuals and depend on factors such as anatomy, age, skin quality, metabolism, lifestyle, medical history, aftercare and biological response.

12. Treatment results

Results from aesthetic treatments vary from person to person.

We cannot guarantee:

  • A specific result
  • A completely symmetrical outcome
  • A specific duration of result
  • That further treatment will not be required
  • That side effects or complications will not occur
  • That results will match another client’s result or an image shown online

Some treatments may require more than one session. Some treatments may need review, adjustment or maintenance.

Before-and-after images shown on our website, social media or marketing materials are examples only. They do not guarantee that you will achieve the same result.

13. Reviews and follow-up appointments

Some treatments may include or recommend a review appointment. Review timings vary depending on the treatment.

For anti-wrinkle treatments, review appointments are usually carried out around 2 to 3 weeks after treatment where appropriate.

Review appointments must be booked within the advised timeframe. If you do not attend within the recommended review period, additional treatment may be charged separately.

Any adjustment or top-up is at the practitioner’s discretion and will only be provided where clinically appropriate.

14. Side effects and complications

All treatments carry some risk. Possible side effects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Bruising
  • Tenderness
  • Itching
  • Asymmetry
  • Lumps or irregularity
  • Infection
  • Inflammation
  • Allergic reaction
  • Unsatisfactory result
  • Pigmentation change
  • Scarring
  • Delayed healing
  • Need for further treatment or correction

Specific risks will be discussed during consultation and consent.

You must follow all pre-treatment and aftercare advice. Failure to follow advice may affect your results and increase the risk of complications.

If you experience any concerning symptoms after treatment, you must contact us promptly and follow the emergency advice provided where relevant.

15. Aftercare

Aftercare advice will be provided where relevant.

You are responsible for following the aftercare instructions given to you. This may include avoiding certain activities, products, treatments, heat exposure, sun exposure, exercise, alcohol or pressure on the treated area for a specified period.

Bonavada Aesthetics cannot be responsible for complications, reduced results or adverse outcomes caused or worsened by failure to follow aftercare advice.

16. Anti-wrinkle treatments

Anti-wrinkle treatments are subject to consultation, suitability assessment and prescription requirements where applicable.

Results vary between individuals and may be affected by muscle strength, facial movement, metabolism, previous treatment history, lifestyle and biological response.

Anti-wrinkle treatments do not produce immediate results. Results normally develop gradually over time and may continue to settle after treatment.

A review may be recommended where appropriate. Any adjustment is at the practitioner’s discretion and will only be carried out where clinically suitable.

We cannot guarantee a completely smooth, frozen or symmetrical result.

17. Dermal fillers

Dermal filler treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.

Results vary depending on anatomy, tissue quality, previous filler, product choice, placement, swelling, healing and aftercare.

Possible side effects include swelling, bruising, tenderness, lumps, asymmetry, infection, vascular compromise, delayed inflammatory reactions and unsatisfactory result.

Filler treatments may require review, adjustment or further treatment. We cannot guarantee a specific shape, size, volume or duration of result.

18. Filler dissolving

Filler dissolving is subject to consultation, assessment and patch testing where required.

Dissolving may not be suitable for every client or every filler concern.

Results can vary depending on the type, amount, age and placement of the filler. More than one session may be required.

Filler dissolving can cause swelling, bruising, tenderness, asymmetry, temporary volume loss, allergic reaction or other complications.

19. Skin boosters, polynucleotides and regenerative skin treatments

Skin boosters, polynucleotides and regenerative skin treatments are intended to improve skin quality, hydration, texture or general appearance where suitable.

Results vary between individuals and may require a course of treatments. These treatments are not a replacement for medical treatment, prescription skincare or surgical procedures.

Common side effects may include redness, swelling, bruising, small bumps, tenderness and temporary unevenness at the injection sites.

We cannot guarantee a specific level of skin improvement or duration of result.

20. PRP and blood draw treatments

PRP treatments involve taking a blood sample and processing it before reintroducing platelet-rich plasma into the treatment area.

Blood draw is subject to suitability, vein access and safety assessment.

We may be unable to proceed if a suitable blood sample cannot be taken, if you feel unwell, or if treatment is not appropriate on the day.

PRP results vary and may require a course of sessions. No specific level of improvement, hair regrowth, skin change, sexual wellness outcome or duration of result can be guaranteed.

PRP treatments are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. If you have symptoms of illness, unexplained hair loss, sexual health concerns or other medical concerns, you should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.

21. Male-focused and intimate treatments

Male-focused treatments, including Scrotox and PRP P-Shot, are subject to full consultation, suitability assessment and informed consent.

These treatments are intended for suitable adult clients only.

Outcomes vary between individuals and may depend on anatomy, health, circulation, medication, lifestyle, age, aftercare and biological response.

No specific improvement in appearance, function, sensitivity, performance, confidence or satisfaction can be guaranteed.

These treatments are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients with pain, erectile dysfunction, penile changes, testicular symptoms, urinary symptoms, circulation issues or other health concerns should seek appropriate medical advice before booking or undergoing treatment.

22. Fat dissolving treatments

Fat dissolving injections are intended for suitable areas of localised fat and are not a weight-loss treatment.

Suitability depends on the treatment area, tissue type, medical history and realistic expectations.

A course of treatments may be required. Swelling, tenderness, bruising, firmness, numbness, unevenness and delayed results may occur.

Results vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

23. Vitamin injections and wellness treatments

Vitamin injections and wellness treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.

These treatments are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment, blood testing or GP care.

You must tell us about relevant medical conditions, medication, allergies, pregnancy, breastfeeding or previous reactions before treatment.

If you feel unwell, have unexplained symptoms or suspect a deficiency or medical condition, you should seek advice from your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional.

24. Numbing cream and topical anaesthetic products

Where numbing cream or topical anaesthetic products are sold, supplied, recommended or used in connection with treatment, they must be used strictly in accordance with the product instructions, safety information, suitability guidance and any advice given by Bonavada Aesthetics.

Some numbing products may contain active ingredients such as lidocaine, prilocaine, epinephrine/adrenaline or other local anaesthetic or vasoconstrictor ingredients. Ingredients, strengths and suitability may vary between products. Clients must check the product label and information leaflet before use.

Numbing cream is not suitable for everyone. You must tell us before use if you have any allergies, previous reactions to local anaesthetics, heart or circulation problems, blood disorders, G6PD deficiency, liver problems, kidney problems, skin conditions, broken skin, irritation, infection, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or if you are taking any medication that may affect suitability.

Numbing cream should only be applied to suitable, intact skin unless the product instructions clearly state otherwise. It must not be applied excessively, left on for longer than advised, used over large areas, used on irritated, inflamed, broken or infected skin, or used under occlusion unless this is specifically stated as suitable for that product.

Possible side effects may include redness, blanching, itching, tingling, irritation, swelling, rash, allergic reaction, reduced sensation, delayed healing, skin colour change, dizziness, feeling faint, palpitations or other unexpected reactions.

If you buy or use numbing cream before treatment, you are responsible for using it correctly and telling us when, where and how it has been applied before your appointment. Treatment may be delayed, refused or amended if the product has been used incorrectly, if the skin appears unsuitable, or if there are safety concerns.

Numbing cream does not guarantee a painless treatment. It may reduce discomfort, but individual response varies.

Bonavada Aesthetics reserves the right not to sell, supply, recommend or use a numbing product where there are concerns about suitability, product classification, product safety, contraindications, client health, skin condition or legal/regulatory requirements.

25. Laser treatments and patch testing

Laser tattoo removal and PMU removal require a patch test before treatment.

Treatment cannot proceed unless the required patch test has been completed and no unsuitable reaction has occurred.

Laser results vary depending on pigment colour, depth, age, density, skin type, area treated, immune response and aftercare.

A course of treatments is usually required, and full removal cannot be guaranteed. Some pigment may fade slowly, partially, unevenly or not as expected.

We reserve the right to refuse or postpone laser treatment where the skin is unsuitable, recently tanned, irritated, infected, sunburnt, compromised or where treatment may be unsafe.

Possible side effects include redness, swelling, blistering, scabbing, pigment change, temporary darkening, incomplete fading, texture change and scarring.

26. Skin tag, mole and lesion removal

Skin tag, mole and lesion removal is subject to consultation and suitability assessment.

We only treat lesions that appear suitable for cosmetic removal within our treatment scope.

We do not diagnose skin cancer or suspicious lesions. If a mole, skin tag, blemish or lesion appears unusual, changing, irregular, bleeding, inflamed, painful or otherwise unsuitable, we may refuse treatment and advise you to seek assessment from your GP, pharmacist, dermatologist or another appropriate healthcare professional before cosmetic removal is considered.

Removal may leave redness, scabbing, pigmentation change, textural change or scarring. Results and healing vary between individuals.

27. Plasma pen and skin tightening treatments

Plasma pen and skin tightening treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.

These treatments are intended to improve the appearance of suitable skin laxity, lines or specific cosmetic concerns, but results vary.

Healing can involve redness, swelling, scabbing, tenderness, pigment changes and a period of visible downtime.

You must follow all aftercare instructions carefully. Picking scabs, applying unsuitable products, sun exposure or failing to protect the skin may increase the risk of pigmentation change, infection, delayed healing or scarring.

We cannot guarantee a specific tightening result or that further treatment will not be needed.

28. Phlebotomy services

Phlebotomy services are subject to suitability and vein access.

We may be unable to proceed if a suitable vein cannot be accessed safely, if you feel unwell, or if there is a concern that proceeding would not be appropriate.

Phlebotomy may cause bruising, tenderness, bleeding, faintness or temporary discomfort.

Where phlebotomy is provided in connection with another treatment, such as PRP, the related treatment must also be suitable on the day.

29. Refusal of treatment

We reserve the right to refuse treatment where we believe it is appropriate to do so.

This includes situations where:

  • Treatment is not suitable or safe
  • Expectations are unrealistic
  • There are safety concerns
  • Medical information is incomplete
  • Consent is not properly given
  • The client appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • The client behaves in an abusive, aggressive, discriminatory or inappropriate way
  • The requested treatment is outside our professional judgement or treatment scope

If treatment is refused following consultation, we will explain the reason where appropriate.

30. Offers, discounts and promotions

Offers, discounts and promotions are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Unless clearly stated otherwise:

  • Offers cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Offers cannot be applied retrospectively
  • Offers may not be combined with other offers
  • Minimum spend requirements may apply
  • Promotional prices only apply during the stated promotional period

Referral credits, discounts or loyalty rewards may be subject to separate conditions.

31. Loyalty scheme: BONA Points

Bonavada Aesthetics may operate a loyalty scheme known as BONA Points.

Clients may earn 2 BONA Points for every £1 spent on eligible treatments at Bonavada Aesthetics.

Every 50 BONA Points equals £1 treatment credit towards a future eligible treatment.

BONA Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, sold, gifted, used retrospectively, or redeemed against cash payments.

BONA Points are usually earned on the final amount paid for eligible treatments after any discounts, offers, vouchers, referral credits, treatment credits or other promotional reductions have been applied.

BONA Points may only be redeemed against eligible future treatments and cannot normally be used on the same transaction in which they are earned.

BONA Points cannot be used against deposits, booking fees, cancellation fees, no-show fees, gift vouchers, retail products, numbing cream or topical anaesthetic products, prescription-only medicines, training courses, academy courses or any excluded items unless agreed in writing.

Where a treatment is refunded, cancelled, unpaid, partially paid, charged back or not completed, any related BONA Points may be removed, reduced or cancelled.

Bonavada Aesthetics reserves the right to correct points issued in error and to refuse, amend, pause, suspend or withdraw BONA Points where there is suspected misuse, duplicate accounts, fraudulent activity, system error, abuse of the scheme or any other reasonable concern.

Bonavada Aesthetics may amend, pause or withdraw the BONA Points loyalty scheme at any time. Any existing valid points will be honoured where reasonably possible, unless there has been misuse, error, expiry or another valid reason not to do so.

32. Treatment credit

Treatment credit means credit applied to a client account that may be used towards eligible future treatments at Bonavada Aesthetics.

Treatment credit may be issued through BONA Points, referral rewards, promotional offers, goodwill gestures, competitions, account adjustments or other clinic-approved reasons.

Treatment credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, sold, gifted, used retrospectively, or redeemed against cash payments.

Treatment credit can only be used towards eligible treatments at Bonavada Aesthetics unless agreed in writing.

Treatment credit cannot normally be used against deposits, booking fees, cancellation fees, no-show fees, gift vouchers, retail products, numbing cream or topical anaesthetic products, prescription-only medicines, training courses, academy courses or any excluded items unless agreed in writing.

Treatment credit may be subject to a minimum spend, expiry date, treatment exclusions or other conditions stated at the time the credit is issued.

Treatment credit may be used alongside other offers, discounts, BONA Points or referral credits only where this has been agreed by Bonavada Aesthetics.

Where a treatment is refunded, cancelled, unpaid, partially paid, charged back or not completed, any related treatment credit may be removed, reduced or cancelled.

Bonavada Aesthetics reserves the right to correct treatment credit issued in error and to refuse, amend, pause or withdraw treatment credit where there is suspected misuse, duplicate accounts, fraudulent activity, system error, abuse of the scheme or any other reasonable concern.

33. Referral scheme

Bonavada Aesthetics may operate a referral scheme where an existing client may receive treatment credit for referring a new client.

Under the referral scheme, a referred new client may receive £25 off their first eligible treatment when they spend £99 or more.

The referred new client must use the relevant referral code when booking online and should also mention the referral at their appointment.

The existing named client will receive £50 treatment credit after the referred new client has attended their appointment, completed their eligible treatment and paid in full.

Referral credit is not issued when a referred client only books an appointment. The referred client must attend and pay in full before the existing client’s referral credit is added.

Referral credit can be built up through multiple successful referrals.

Referral credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, sold, gifted, used retrospectively, or redeemed against cash payments.

Referral credit can only be used towards eligible future treatments at Bonavada Aesthetics.

Referral credit cannot normally be used against deposits, booking fees, cancellation fees, no-show fees, gift vouchers, retail products, numbing cream or topical anaesthetic products, prescription-only medicines, training courses, academy courses or any excluded items unless agreed in writing.

Referral credit may be used alongside other offers, discounts or BONA Points only where this has been agreed by Bonavada Aesthetics.

If a referred client cancels, does not attend, does not complete treatment, receives a refund, makes a chargeback or does not pay in full, the referral reward may be refused, removed, reduced or cancelled.

Bonavada Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse, amend, pause or withdraw referral rewards where there is suspected misuse, self-referral, duplicate accounts, false referrals, fraudulent activity, abuse of the scheme, system error or any other reasonable concern.

Bonavada Aesthetics may amend, pause or withdraw the referral scheme at any time. Any existing valid referral credits will be honoured where reasonably possible, unless there has been misuse, error, expiry or another valid reason not to do so.

34. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers, where available, are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase.

Gift vouchers cannot normally be exchanged for cash.

Lost or expired vouchers may not be replaced.

Treatment remains subject to consultation and suitability. If the chosen treatment is unsuitable, the voucher may be used towards an alternative suitable treatment where appropriate.

35. Treatment courses and packages

Where treatments are sold as a course or package, the package must be used within the timeframe stated at the time of purchase.

Results from courses are not guaranteed.

If you decide not to complete a course, any refund or credit will be assessed fairly, taking into account treatments already provided, costs incurred and any discount applied to the package.

Package discounts may be lost if the full course is not completed.

36. Prescribing and prescription-only medicines

Some treatments may involve prescription-only medicines or require prescriber involvement.

Where this applies, treatment will only proceed after appropriate consultation, assessment and prescribing arrangements have been completed.

Prescription-only medicines cannot be supplied or administered without the correct assessment and authorisation.

37. Academy training courses

Academy training courses are subject to separate suitability, entry requirements and booking terms.

Learners are responsible for ensuring they meet the entry requirements for the course they book. Learners are also responsible for checking any insurance, prescribing, regulatory or professional requirements before treating clients independently after training.

Completion of a course does not automatically guarantee competency sign-off. Competency is assessed during training and may be withheld where further development is needed. Where this happens, feedback and next steps will be discussed.

Course fees include the elements stated on the relevant course page at the time of booking. This may include teaching, supervised practical work, model experience, competency assessment and CPD certificate, depending on the course booked.

Academy deposits and cancellation terms may differ from clinic treatment appointments. The academy cancellation policy stated at the time of booking will apply.

38. Website information

The information on our website is provided for general information only.

It is not medical advice and should not replace a consultation or personalised assessment.

We try to keep website information accurate and up to date, but treatments, prices, availability and policies may change.

39. Social media and messaging

Clients may contact us through social media, WhatsApp, email or other messaging platforms. These channels may be used for general enquiries, booking support and follow-up advice.

However, urgent medical concerns or complications should not rely solely on social media messages.

If you experience severe symptoms or a medical emergency, you should seek urgent medical help.

40. Photography

Photographs may be taken as part of your consultation or treatment record, where appropriate.

Clinical photographs help document your starting point, treatment progress and outcome.

Identifiable images will not be used for marketing, social media, website content or promotional purposes without separate consent.

41. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will aim to deal with complaints fairly, professionally and promptly.

Complaints should ideally be made in writing so that we can properly understand and investigate the issue.

We may ask you to attend a review appointment before any outcome is decided.

42. Liability

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory rights.

Subject to this, Bonavada Aesthetics is not responsible for:

  • Losses caused by inaccurate or withheld client information
  • Failure to follow pre-treatment or aftercare advice
  • Unrealistic expectations
  • Normal treatment variation
  • Delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control
  • Indirect or consequential losses

43. Events outside our control

We may need to cancel, rearrange or delay appointments due to circumstances outside our control, including illness, emergency, equipment failure, supply issues, severe weather, power failure or other unexpected events.

Where this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and rearrange your appointment.

If we cancel your appointment and cannot provide the service, any deposit or booking fee will be transferred or refunded where appropriate.

44. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be available on our website.

The Terms & Conditions in place at the time of booking will usually apply to that booking unless a change is required by law or for safety reasons.

45. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
